    André Longtin

    André Longtin is Professor of Physics at the University of Ottawa. He received his Ph.D. (1989) from McGill University, Montréal, and his M.Sc. (1985) from the Université de Montréal.

    Among his distinctions are the Humboldt Research Award (2010), Fellow of the American Physical Society (2003), University of Ottawa Interdisciplinary Research Prize (2002), Ontario Premiers Research Excellence Award (1999), and best thesis in pure and applied science across the four Montreal universities (1990).

    His research interests include non-linear dynamics, stochastic dynamical systems, neural/physiological modelling, theoretical and computational neuroscience, and non-linear time series analysis.
